My Recovery period would tend to last a week or more, too. Yeh, that included the sore muscles. :( Suggestions: Sore muscles, Ibupropen (maybe 3??, ever 4 hrs ) Supervised! warm epsom salt bath. For your tongue, Strong Salt Water Rinse. Especially after meals. Trouble eating? Ramen Soup (break the noodles into easy to swallow size) mashed potatoes, broth & Jello/puddings/yogurts. Or you can try Blending your foods/salads into a drink. :)
If your leg continues to bother you, please have it cheked by your DR. It may be a sore muscle, but, ya never know, you mite have fractured/splintered a bone.
