Epilepsy (often referred to as a seizure disorder) is a chronic neurological condition characterized by recurrent unprovoked seizures. I have written it all down & see neurologist on Thursday. Last time he tested for it he said eeg didnt show anything so not epilepsy but I will be arguing/standing up for myself more this time as it is happening very often. It is happening at night too, I wake up very stiff & sore & can feel the jerking too. Different to my ms spasms too.
Thanks again
He wouldnt put me on any meds at the moment. has ordered a ct scan, mri & a day eeg scan to get a better reading.
I am confused, on one hand he says he is treating it as epilepsy but wants the tests to show it is. Wont give me any meds for it though so have to live with it for 3 months till I see him again
Now what am I supposed to do? He is a good neuro & thorough but I am so fed up with tests. Feel like my life is taken over by them.

Then they put a video (old fashioned LOL) on which I watched. There was a button next to me I was meant to press if I had a seizure. Good idea but I dont know till after. I did press it 2 times as I know I "zoned out" as missed parts of movie. Also both times I had lost bladder control too. (had pad on) Felt a bit out of it & vision was blurred so thats what made me think I had one. I hope it does either show that it is seizures or what it is. now I have to wait till september to get the results.
anywho, deffinately could be possible that this is seizures, it sounds similar to what my problems were and now that im on seizure meds.
keep us tuned in!!
