I just had the video EEG the day after Christmas, to be honest it is not the most fun I have ever had but. They did catch a seizure and located the position in the brain that it is happening. They also found that on my left side I was having significant slowing of electrical activity multiple times a day.
I wish you great luck with your test, I had the same attitude as you just pin point where they are coming from. Also the bonus was that I had hard proof that these were real, since I work from home no one outside of my family has seen my seizure except when I had a few grand mauls back in 2009.
