About 1 TBSP olive Oil or veg oil mixed w/ your fav conditioner. Olive oil is Best. :) Use a large tooth comb to comb the mix thru hair & then a small tooth comb to get the gel out. The oil will remove the gel & leave your hair super shiny/silky. :) Won't burn & should have no adverse affects, either. :)
Sounds like you left them w/ something to record anyway. Best of Luck w/ results.

I was told by the staff, to stand in the shower and let hot water (hot as I could stand) run onto my head for a good 5 minutes then run my fingers through my hair to remove the glue.
Then and only then....to use shampoo.
It worked perfectly....way easier than I thought.
Wish you the best....let us know.
dancer51 I tried what you said but only had vegetable oil in the cupboard. Have put it through my hair 3 times & got little bits out but the bulk is still there. Seems like it is going to be stubborn.
Unfortunately I cant stand hot water much at all (thanks to ms) but will try as warm as I can tomorrow when I have a shower before I shampoo. & see if I can get any off. This morning I ran my normal temp water on the hair & ran my hands through but very little moved so I shampood.
We went to the shops today & I asked a hairdresser if they had anything to help but only siad maybe different shampoo so didnt bother. Bought a couple of bandanas instead so wearing one of them. Every time I moved my head it was catching on the chair or whatever I was sitting on & hurt heaps when I moved last night.
Just hoping they come off soon as already getting excema all around the back of the hair line.
Thanks for your understanding & help. I really hope it improves in next 2 days as badk to work wednesday after more than 2 months off & wont be able to cover hair there.
Try increasing Vegetable oil amount. Maybe try half & half or/and 3/4 VO w/ 1/4 conditioner. Be sure to comb thru hair & use extra on scalp/ head. Then Wrap in towel for 15-30 min. :) That should soften the glue up enough to rinse out. After rinsing/combing, use fine tooth comb, again. The lady who gave me this tip, suggested a Lice comb to get the small stuff out. But, I have used a Rat tail comb, successfully. Repeat the conditioning, wrapping again, if need be. It will take a little warmer water then you are used to. But, Rely is rite, it will help.

It took a week for it all to come out even with wasshing each day if not twice. I also picked at it as it was so itchy & a bit of it would stick up & catch on everything & some of it I ended up cutting off. Needless to say whien I picked or cut it usually took bits of hair too.
I did end up with thinner hair, lucky it is curly so you couldnt tell.
I get the results on Thursday so hope something showed so that I can get some help with it as I am having a lot more "episodes".
