Does anyone have this?

My daughter is epileptic and unable to take any medication due to side effects suffered having tried loads of medication.  Our doctor says there is only one left, to try, she doesnt want try it.  She is 21 years old.  Which obviously means she has uncontrolled epilepsy, she has also has had a heart transplant and takes loads of meds for that.  I just wondered was anyone else in the same boat?

not with the heart transplant. However, my son has had seizures for many years. They were not well-controlled for years.

His doctors at Stanford fiinally got the right meds for him after trying a lot of things.

I'm sure she hears this often, please tell her that many of us have been faced with the seemingly impossible obstacles, but she should never give up! She will have a lifetime of life management ahead of her, but it will all be worth it!

I tried several different meds which made me worse. I dont take anything currently but i find taking a table spoon of organic hemp seed oil,getting enough sleep and a healthy diet help reduce my seizures.
