1st time seizure

hi im not very clued up about this so I'm wondering if anyone can help. My husband who is 29 years old had his 1st seizure 3 days ago due to high blood pressure. He ended up falling to the floor and ended up banging his head very hard he had a huge lump. He has had about 6 seizures all together and is on education now to prevent it. It's day 3 now since the 1st one and he just stares at you and doesn't talk and he is very tired. Is this quite common With seizures?

Yes this is common, he will be very tired. I know i cant communicate very well after a seizure and find it hard to talk or walk.

Same here.. I need time afterward to "come "back". I generally am awake but I may not remember everything. I am very tired afterward.

Yes this is very normal. It will take some time to come back to normal. Depending how bad it is, I can have a foggy brain for a week or 2 following. Its also an emotional roller coaster, so just be there for him.
Good luck to you both, and just try and be strong for him. It's not an easy thing to explain to someone how you feel after a seizure. Sore, tired and sad are my main feelings after. Oh so tired.
