I have perennial allergies as well as seasonal allergies along with asthma. I take symbicort. ventolin, singulair, avamys, and reactine. Even with taking the reactine and using the avamys I still experience sinus pain and pressure. I tried the neti pot but it drained out my sinuses too much. I wanted to take advil cold and sinus but found out it reacts with blood pressure medication. I take diltiazem 240mg xc and I also take synthroid. Is there anything else I can take for my sinuses that won't interact with any of my medications?

I wish i knew. I also have sinus pressure and pain. My pcp kept prescribing antibiotics and i knee it was infection. I went to two diff ent two and cat scans with dye and showed no infection. They both prescribed nasonex.

Also maybe just saline nose spray would help. I finally had relief for a few days now back at it. The ENT said keep using it, but i slack off and probably why it returns.

I never use anything with D in it because that raises your bp.

I been using sudafed and mucinex.

One of the best products I've found for any kind of congestion or sinus/lung problems is a product called Serratia. You can buy it @ pureformulas.com or puritanspride.com both are free shipping. I used this when I had chronic mold poisoning and was always congested. Works with in 10 minutes.

Also nettle teas is great as well. Great taste to.

Thanks for the suggestions! I've thought of trying mucinex. I've never had nettle tea and I will look into Serratia!

I have only found when my sinuses bother me to keep a warm wet cloth nearby for my face

I use Reactine in the spring and summer ,,,but now that I have stopped using it in the winter I have alot of pressure in my right ear and sinus area ,,,, errrrrrrr I may have to take meds year round now
