How to treat allergic rhinitis?


Recently, I have experienced severe allergic rhinitis. Every morning I get up and sneezing, runny nose, feeling a stuffy nose while sleeping, and it is difficult to breathe with my nose. It has been almost two months. The doctor gave me an anti-allergic drug (cetirizine), which was more effective when I first started eating, but recently I even had a runny nose. Do you have any suggestions? Because I really feel very uncomfortable, it has affected my work and study.

I think it you should visit an allergy specialist. You may require other medicine or combination of medicines. Keep a diary and try to find out the trigger. Avoiding the trigger can permanently solve your problem.

Wash all the bedding and try find allergen free pillow. Dust and clean around the bed boards, carpet, flooring, and windows. Check the ceiling for spiders and evidence of bugs. Remove any candles or scents in the room, close the bedroom door at night and put an air filter machine by the bed. Run the machine during the day and turn it off at night.

Marc, I take the same meds. However nothing is an 100% . To calm down mine I was on five Allergy meds but now only on one and at times I have flares up.

Terence, that's a good idea. Never thought of a dairy to try figure out what triggers it. I do all of that Allseason , I am going to try to see what food.

Its interesting because my first Allegist use to tell me that my immune cause it and cause my body to react but one min a food will be okay and another min the same food WILK trigger. I wonder if anyone of you are told that Allergy eating at your lungs?and every triggers affect Lung?
