Sounds like heat exhaustion and a little dydration...even though you're drinking-they say that pushing water is the best. And if you aren't use to being outdoors can affect you more than someone more use to it..also depending on medical condtions and meds also can affect your heat toleration.
Did you have a hat? Light weight long sleeve shirt might help
You did try to keep cool andout of the sun...but it still got ya and you get to look like a turnip for a time..noxema I have heard is good for sunburns..
I hope you can get an portable a/c asap-humidty is really bad to deal with!
