I think I've been on this....no bcp ever worked well for me. The side effects I got were always worse than the endo symptoms.

I'm more worried about weight gain, pathetic right? actually my bleeding stopped a bit 2 hours after I took it so maybe it's ok. I just hate bleeding. What did you do for your pain?

I hate weight gain too....It's really hard to lose this weight gained.
I use a combo of ibuprofen, muscle relaxer, and tramadol....depending on what the pain is from. (Endo, cyst, cramps)

I eat healthy, horseback ride and gym so hopefully that wont happen, but if I see if happening I'll get right off of it. That ain't happening. I haven't so far gained weight on any of the pills (except the first one but I was eating dunkin donuts everyday lol so I'm imagining that could be why haha). I wonder if it really does make you gain weight or if its your lifestyle?

Well I'm a runner and do yoga and I still gained weight. I think really what it is is they make your body think you are pregnant (they put your body into pseudo pregnancy)....so it makes you eat more and crave this. So yes, when I gained weight it's because I ate ALOT and it was alot of sugar and fat! But it's what the med makes you do! I'm trying really hard to stay away from that stuff this time around.
I had this dr one who gave me the deep provera shot once a month for the months. When I switched drs I asked for the one month depo shot. They told me there was no such thing....and I found out that that Dr has given me 9 mos of med in three months!!!! I gained 50 pounds from those shots and was so pissed off!! I've lost all of that for the most part but did gain 10 from the last time I was on it.

I guess just try and stay away from cravings? I really don't want to gain, what do you think??

And that's freaking ridiculous no wonder why you gained weight anyone in that case would my problem now is I cant eat I have no appetite.

It's really hard to fight those cravings....Though since October I've been doing low carbs and little sugar....so I'm not eating the things I crave...like donuts and French fries. :-) I will have them occasionally but not everyday like I did years ago when on those shots. I know, it's pretty ridiculous...and I was furious with the dr for not telling me...She made me believe it was a monthly shot....I went every 28 days for the shot. :(

Holy crap that's insane! Yeah, I eat healthy but I do understand the cravings, if that happens tho, I'm just going to get off it- there are so many other drugs to try. But I feel that my doctor has a reason to put me on it so hopefully!
