Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
Ok, I have waited 3 months for this appointment, with the top ob/gyn hospital in the nation. Only 2 docs see endo patients, you would think they were good.
All she wanted to do was talk about making babies. I don't need a f-ing fertility doctor, I have one! I need some to tell me why my hands and feet are numb. To know that IBS and endo are linked. To know that when I say I am in pain before my periods and around the time of ovulation, I mean I am really really in pain.
Argh!! Why do we get pigeon holed into the obgyn area? They do NOT care about our overall health. :-(. Just our 'reproductive organs'.
How can we change this? I want to start writing the medical universities as this is a major loophole in my book.
On the plus side, she was very nice and said my fertility doctor is doing the right things. I must see some silver lining, otherwise I will go nuts.

i don't know how to change it. hell i don't even know how to get the correct pain meds i need!
