Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
I was dx'd with breast cancer in 2004 and then after my periods came back from chemopause I started to develop endo symptoms. I probably started having endo symptoms 2 years out after I got my monthlies back. Also looking back at my periods before cancer I'm almost positive I had it then to, but didn't know. I had a fibroid removed almost a year ago now. My doc said it was like a magnet. It was like attracting all the endo tissue. The fibroid was completely covered and endo tissue was growing on top of other endo tissue. About 3 months after my surgery my endo came back full force and my doc thinks that because the fibroid wasn't there that the endo has now spread to other places. :( Just finished my lupron treatments and waiting to see whats next....
I hope your doing well with your journey with this crappy disease.
