Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
good luck and i hope you feel better
and congrats on stopping smoking!!!!!
It hurts. It hurts ALOT. Nothing helps... the pain medicine takes the edge off, but oh, you get really tired, and actually, it still hurts, so you have to keep still and wear a heating pad, too.
On top of that, you get depressed. You can't go out, you can't have fun, you can't have sex, and then people get annoyed at you and tell you they are just so sick of you not feeling good.
OK, well, more pills for that. But, oh, it seems that Endo also happens to those of us with immune systems that don't work as well, so you get colds and joint pain and headaches and all sorts of other fun things... and more medicine.
And THEN, you have a nice doctor who tell you that you are taking too much medicine and they are not going to give you anymore. OR they give you a prescription and they give you 100 Darvocet with 5 refills on it. Oh, um, so are we also going to get blamed when you just throw pills at us and then woder why we are dependent on them?! And, yes, it's DEPENDENT on them, not ADDICTED.
I would love to feel good everyday and not have to take anything ever again. I would love to not have the cramps, back aches, head aches and depression.
But at least I know we are all in this together, and this group is a wonderful place to vent... which, actually, it looks like I just did! Sorry there, Katsumi.
But my thoughts are with you. Big hugs. Email me if you ever need to vent. xoxo
