Ever since being diagnosed (and probably before, I just didn't know the cause at that point) I have random bouts of vomiting. It is often accompanied by an ovarian cyst and some pain, but not a lot of pain.

Every doctor I see seems to think this is not endo and a strange problem to have. I am confident that it is endo. I've had endoscopies and colonoscopies and they are fine. It is almost always accompanied by cysts that my doctor says are "small".

Is this just me? My doctor makes me feel like this is very rare for endo.

I haven't had vomiting, but as nauseous as I get sometimes I could totally see this happening. If you are able, I would recommend finding a doc that specializes in endo. My doctors kept telling me that all I needed was a gluten free, dairy free, sugar free diet and I would be all better. It wasn't until I found a new OBGYN that I was taken seriously. I hope it gets better for you!

Yeah, I've seen so many doctors, many of whom claim to be endo specialists. (And I think a few really were!) None of them seemed to really know what to make of the vomiting. I've tried diets, none of them have worked to the point of me being able to find something that helps/hurts. No matter what I'm eating, I have good times and bad times.

In other news, I think this vomiting episode was because my period was coming in a few days because I got it now! :-o It isn't always so linked, though.

Nausea is considered common symptom with Endo, but that doesn't mean a women must have it to be diagnosed.

I have had chronic nausea since I was 15. It was more like morning sickness, complete with smell sensitivity! That was the first constant symptom I've had. For me, it wasn't associated with added pain, cysts, nor periods. Some women only have it during their periods, some have it with more pain, or cyst pains/bursts, others see it as a daily symptom like I do. I used to throw up a lot! My G.I. doctor finally prescribed me Zofran (ondansetron) and that has stopped all vomiting.

See if you doctor would consider giving you some Zofran for your nausea. All that throwing up isn't good for your esophagus and teeth. I take mine as needed and thankfully, have not thrown up again since! Since my nausea is daily, I tend to have to take my meds pretty much daily too. But it's so worth it to not throw up!

Im with you on this. Just the past 3 months I have started just randomly getting in a lot of pain and throwing up. They always told me i had a small cyst but that doesnt cause pain. Till just recently 3 drs told me it could be endo. Im going to get checked but they are almost positive i have endo considering my pain is getting unbearable and my symptoms are spot on. I would try pain management. They can give you zofran and pain meds. I know it sucks. Its not something i want to be on or deal with for the rest of my life. But support helps. And i havent been getting it from my friends. I lost most my friends due to this. So just know you have support from me.
