Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
This is very, very stupid and some will probably yell at me or want to slap me or something, but I just have to vent.
I was kicked out of my World of Warcraft guild because of my recent endo surgery and because I sometimes need to take short afks during raids when I'm on my period due to the pain of sitting in a chair for 4 hours with endo. They knew about my medical problems before even inviting me, but still ended up kicking me. I wasn't up to par on gear because I was out of the game for 2 weeks due to surgery, and it really pisses me off that these people can't understand that I'm another REAL PERSON behind the video game character and I have real problems.
Sorry. Feel free to beat me/slap me/call me stupid. Its just a game, I know, but I've been playing for 6 years, so its kind of important to me. I've been with these people for over a year, so it was my surgery that caused them to kick me.

I had told my mom I was depressed at one point because I was in pain every single day and she told me, "Maybe you need to get a hobby." Hobby!! I would have just been happy for my body to work good enough to be able to go outside the house. I cried for days.
It's really sad that people want to make our lives even more lonely than they already are. You're not stupid.....they are.

I decided my new hobby is gonna be reading. I love reading almost as much as WoW. I just started The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss and its awesome. Also, I love Farmville. I'm not maxed lvl though. Only lvl 67.
That said, I think there are LOTS of situations where people stop seeing people as PEOPLE. Cashiers, gas stations, computers. You definitely deserve a lot more validity and support than that.

Reading is fun. I've been a book lover since I was a young child. Might I recommmend "The Girl With The Dragon Tatoo" series by Stieg Larsen. OUTSTANDING. These books will keep you up until 2am becasue you just don't want to put them down. Everybody I know that has read these books say the same thing. WOW. This dude, Larsen , has major talent. Too bad he died becacause I would have loved to read more of his work. The guy was a genius. He made Lisbeth Salander, the heroine, come to life in his thrilling tales of hackers, murder, corporate scandals and brilliant characters. Loved it.
