The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
Hey,
just wanted to update you on K. Some of you know last month she cramped really bad on her cycle for the first time ever and i was so scared with my history with endo. She even missed a day of school from it last month. Well I have good news. She is only cramping alittle this time. About 2-3 months ago I found an article in O magazine that said that Vitamin E drastically reduced menstrual cramps. You take it 4 days before the cycle and then during the first 3 days. So that is what I had K do and i think it really helps. She had alilttle pain in her back 1-2 days before then cramped that first day but after that she said she is ok. She took a motrin that day. She didn't even need any Tordal like she did last month.
I don't know if her cramping last month was a fluke or if there is something going on. I will stay on top of it. She is due to refill her birth control pills in April so she will be having her first pelvic exam then but if she cramps more before then i may take her in earlier just to check things out.
