Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
i don't know whether depo is meant to fix endo (and i think that if it did, we would all be on it), or just control it for a while, or reduce the symptoms. it's impossible to know what your long term future holds with endo. the best you can do is have a good dr, have a plan, try things out, and be as positive as you can.
if depo is working for you, enjoy each day with the energy and pain relief you get. if things change for the worse, cross that bridge when you come to it. there are always new things to try, and new things to learn.
I am not sure of your age, but I would try to get information on the bone loss since you have been on it for so long. You may also do a bone density test.
