Hello all! It's been a while since I've asked for advice or started a discussion, although I have been visiting. Lots of new people which is great!

Wanting to ask those of you ladies that have been diagnosed or suspect endo in the bladder what brought you to this conclusion and/or diagnosis. I haven't been having extra pain in that area, ( except a little in my lower left back ) just elevated amounts of blood in my urine. 0-2 is normal, I have 11 average. I also suspect this may be related to the facial acne I've been enduring, which is absolutely NOT normal for me. I seem to remember reading that when your kidneys are some what overloaded, your skin becomes a back up of sorts.
I am leaning towards thinking I've had endo on my bladder for some time and the symptoms are just surfacing. The acne has been a problem for about 8-9 months and my urine has been getting darker and darker, plus the small amount of elevated pain in my back. It's hard to determine when the extra pain started as I am under pain management.

hey thanks for posting,, i have also been wondering if i may have endo around my bladder. blood in urine, pain, frequency! but all just when i cramp. i am going to a specialist on the 21st and we suspect she will be doing another surgery, so i guess we will find out! lol good luck with everything!

I don't feel so alone, thanks for sharing! I just recently discovered the blood in my urine and have been pondering on the other symptoms.

I have been diagnosed with endo on my bladder. My doctor believed I had it there before I had surgery because I would have bladder infections alot, had the urge to pee alot and of course the pain. I hope this helps and u figure something out

Thank you for sharing. I have an appointment with a urologist this coming Monday ( 12/12 ) and I will ask if he/she will perform that cystoscopy procedure. I had the IC test and was diagnosed with it but I know for sure I don't have it. For one, I hardly have any of the symptoms, second, the doctor that performed the test wasn't even a urologist!!! That particular OB had a horrible bed side manner and treated me like a drug seeker ( even though I was in pain management ) and that I probably don't have endo! ( Even though I was surgically diagnosed!! ) With that procedure, I'm sure the endo can be detected without a doubt. Am I wrong in thinking this? It's just what I read and I suppose you can't believe everything you read these days.

Megan: What did they do for you once you were diagnosed? Was your OB at that time qualified to remove it or did you have to find a specialist? I just want to know what to look forward to and what to expect in the future.

My OB is qualify to remove it so she went ahead and removed most of it. In my case it was bad on my bladder than she couldn't remove it all bc she didn't want to accidentally make a hole in my bladder but every doctor is different in their skills. I could find another doctor that may could get it all but I dont have a endo specialist in my area and she is a wonderful doctor so for right now I will stay with her. I've also been tested for IC but only bc my insurance wouldn't pay for a surgery unless that was ruled out. So I'd make so that isn't a problem. Good luck. Let me kno what you find out

I had it on my bladder, bowel and ureter, didnt have any urine symptoms, just pain, low back/ pelvic. They did do a kidney ultrasound, you could have one od those. When was your last lap? was there endo?

I have endo around my bladder and bowel. I have pain and urgency and bladder infections. I was prescribed low dose macrodantin to take when I feel an infection coming on. Had to take one today as a matter of fact.
