Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
I'm a teacher, so I totally understand how hard it is to work through this.
When I was pregnant I also had major nausea including vomitting, but that may have been caused by hormone levels rising, who knows. But I did learn some tricks along the way. True, you can go with Zofran or other meds (I did during pregnancy), unfortunately eating also curbs the nausea.
In particular, high protein food helps me quite a bit so I go for say scrambled eggs now or beef jerky. It's not the healthiest thing to do (constantly eating something) so I also chew gum in between meals which helps a bit. I chew the kinds I like which are mainly fruit flavors but I bet hotchocolate is right that peppermint would help a lot.
