Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
The physio stuff really does help... it amazes me just how common it seems to be that we are all so "tight" there - adding to our pain!! And it is just not picked up! They found mine after I birthed my daughter naturally and still had pelvic floor muscles that were too toned... but the therapy was going really well until I fell pregnant again! I will be going back once this baby is born. It can get a little embarrassing, but the results are sooo worth it! xx
finally a doctor whos going to take control of your endo. i do believe doctors push hysterectomies and getting pregnant as a "cure" for endo. you know whats right for you. its weird that they can "feel" the endo. my ob/gyn felt my endo when doing a pelvic i was very suprised since i got surgery to remove the endo 6 months prior and it wasnt in that location.
anyways its good to hear your doing great and you found a good doctor. stay amazing hun!!!!

My PT told me that gynos have no clue how to "handle" us down their, that all they are basically taught is how to just "get it out of the way" to get to where they need to. A physical exam from a PT is a WAY different experience than with a doctor.
I have a new list of questions for my doctors. I will see the specialist again March 4th, I will try and get my answers.
