Hey guys,
I've been on continuous birth control for three months now and I'm finally feeling an improvement this month, yay! I also realized that this improvement went along with me not having sex for about two weeks (I usually try to do it weekly) anyways, I had sex Monday and I am still in really bad pain for the first time in about a week. I'm sure the birth control is helping a lot of my pain, but now that I'm off my period and it isn't a trigger I am worried that sex is what is causing me to be in pain nearly every day of my cycle. Sorry for tmi, but I need someone who is experienced with this. I am 20 and even though I don't enjoy sex so much anymore, I don't want to force my boyfriend into going without it. Suggestions?

As of now, I don't have a good suggestion. Personally, I really don't want to take pain meds just to have sex! For now, I am just praying my hubby continues to be understanding and supportive as he has been.

I will definitely look into pelvic floor issues. It does help when I take ibuprofen before hand or have a couple glasses of wine, but then I'm still hurting three days later. I have managed to find positions that help the situation, originally it was a horrible stabbing pain, but now its more like the endo pain I get during my period. Its hard to explain and this is all new to me, I've only had the pain for about 6 months. My boyfriend is incredibly understanding though so I am thankful for that! I probably worry more than him most of the time.
