The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.

So i just yesterday discovered the Center For Endometriosis Care, and ive read some great reviews. Im going to be sending my records there as soon as i get some financial stuff worked out. I like in jax, fl so its not too bad of a drive (about 6 hours).
I was wondering about yalls experiences, so please share them with me either as a reply to this post or a personal message. I would really appreciate that:)

Hi, I went there in 2001. I live in Chicago so I flew there. It was a pretty good experience. Everyone I spoke to and worked with me was very nice, professional and extremely helpful. Good luck.

I have not been there but if my next surgery does not help I will be saving to have surgery there or with another endo expert. (my insurance doesn't cover out of network Dr's). I have only heard really awesome things about the CEC and I have read about and watched a few things by Dr, Sinervo, he seems awesome. Just incase you don't know they do offer a free consult and they do accept insurances that are from different states, so you might be able to get this covered with your current insurance. Also, there is a facebook page that is support/education for people with endo and a lot of people on there have been to the CEC. It is called Nancy's Nook Endometriosis discussion and education. It is a closed group so anything you post there your friends won't be able to see.

Since a lot of people travel from other states to be treated there I think they talk most insurances.

I think you will find the needed and appreciated help you have been looking for there. I think you are making a good decision to go and see what they have to offer as far as treatment options. Good luck!

I would just call them to see if they are able to work with your insurance. From what I hear, they are very helpful and more than willing in walking you through the insurance portions and then figuring out the finances if things are not covered. And also the free consult is helpful as well.
I hope the CEC can provide you with the relief you are looking for!
