Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
I'm sorry you're having such a hard time and that the people around you are being terrible. Just keep your head high and remember that God isn't punishing you by giving you diseases and that anyone who would say such a disgusting and hurtful thing isn't worth the dirt on your shoes. You are stronger than all of them put together!!!!
I just want to RAGE at the ignorant, insensitive people (doctors included) who have NO CLUE about this disease. They make statements that deeply impact one's life and self esteem (as if we aren't already beaten down by disease) I couldn't believe (Or, yes I could) that theatrediva was told by her doctor that her obesity caused her disease. She's believed him all of this time.
Sweetie, YOU IS SMART. YOU IS KIND. YOU IS IMPORTANT. You don't deserve shit for "pie". HUGS to you and hopes you can avoid these vampires who are sucking the life breath from you.
~~Luv...Pup
One of my relatives did send me a jeering message this morning asking me why she was deleted and if she somehow offended me. I'm not going to respond as its not worth the argument that it will cause. So that is that.
As for my friend, I really feel that she was just drunk and majorly depressed again as when I checked my FB page this morning I had 21 messages from her all telling me how pathetic I was and how I don't deserve to be her friend and that she didn't mean what she had said she was just trying to give me tough love as a friend should etc and nothing was spelled correctly or made any sense and her last message just said that I could respond to her if I wanted but as far as she was concerned she won't reply and has deleted me as a friend. I know this is mostly her issue as she refuses help of any kind and in the past year she has told me about at least 3-4 other friends that she has lost because of her problem and has been dumped buy 5 or 6 bf's for the same reason. Its sad and unfortunate as we have been friends for almost 7 years but I think the best thing for now and gut instinct is telling me just to let her go on her way and when she gets her life back on track maybe we can see where it stands.
Its interesting but I looked up my weekly horoscope today and it said that this next week is going to be a tough week as the universe will be putting me on a better higher path so there will be a lot of purging of bad influences and negativity in my life and to just hang in there for the long haul everything will be for the best. So I guess its time to take a look at what new doors and new chapters will open from this and see what life now has to offer me.
I still wish I knew how to not let others comments effect me so much. :(
Sending love to all of you! Namaste
My family can be a nightmare, so while I haven't walked a mile in your shoes, I feel lots of empathy for what you're going through. I just wanted to say that it's up to you who you spend time with and interact with. You can't change other people, but you can change how you choose to spend your time and energy.
I still struggle with feeling "obligated" about certain family things, but by working very hard on prioritizing my own well being I have gotten to a point where I am more often able to tell myself, "No, being around my family will just make me feel bad and seven ridiculous things will happen that I will feel I need to fix or be involved in. What's my priority right now? Taking the best possible care of my mental and physical well being or placating my family?" and then reminding myself that I am worth whatever it takes to keep myself together. This means that I now spend less time with my family, which is sad, but they are adults and if they actually wanted to spend positive time with me, I'd be there in a heartbeat. I get to choose who I spend time with, and it's ok that I don't always have it in me to spend time with people who are negative and/or make me feel terrible.
Happily, there are many awesome people in the world and I get to choose to spend time with those people. It really does wonder for my outlook.
Please take good care of yourself and know that the only person you owe anything to is yourself. Here are two quotes I thought about while reading your words:
"You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with." -Jim Rohn
"Before you diagnose yourself with depression or low self-esteem, first make sure you are not, in fact, surrounded by $#*holes." -William Gibson
