Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
Also have you tried miralax, it is suppose to be pretty easy on the GI and not cause cramping. I have a friend who has horrible constipation (not from endo, she has IBS, gastro paresis and maybe something else). She use to go up to 2 weeks with out going and she says as long as she takes the mirilax daily she is good and it doesn't cause her cramping.
Hope you feel better soon!
I do have IBS as well but since giving up wheat/gluten, anything with soy and most dairy, I don't get upset stomachs anymore either. Sometimes food can really mess up our innards even more so.
At this point, I take 6 grams of fiber via fiber capsules, eat a ton of fruit and veg, and drink about a gallon of water every day. If I slack off at all with my fiber intake, I pay for it.
I hope this eases up soon for you.
I had a large mass of endo sitting "atop" my rectal/vaginal canal STILL following 2 lap surgeries to remove uterus, right tube and right ovary. Although as much endo as possible was cut away, and "consumed" organs "released", the severe pain in my vagina and rectum is still frequently breath-taking. It feels as though I'm being "penetrated and/or "violated" with a serrated edge bread knife =( I curl up in the floor with a lidocaine suppository in both vagina and rectum to "deaden" the pain.
As for constipation/bowel movements...constipation is a constant companion. I would recommend a "softener" as in Senokote, Perdiem....most recently I'm using Miralax. My gastr recently recommended Linzess following my colonoscopy. It worked much like Miralax in that it draws water into your stool, keeping it soft and moving.
I FEEL YOUR PAIN...especially kDeezy...finding humor where there is none. I will go for days...sometimes 9...without BM. I have intense bloating, cramping and pressure. It will feel as though I've passed a bowling ball wrapped in barbwire, only to find perhaps a Junior Mint -size poop in the toilet (if I've had success at all)
God help me...I wish I had better, more encouraging answers for all of you, but this is ONE WICKED DISEASE, as you know. Another poster mentioned "fissures inside her rectum". I've had those, too. Just when you think you can't take any more...Mr. Fissure shows up to add his 2 cents.

Hope this helps.
Like JenC says, it feels like a lot more than what actually comes out. Anybody get throbbing in the rectal area? I find that so bizarre! Just feels...weird.
My back and lower abdomen severly cramps up before I have a BM. Is that IBS or could it be from endo as well? Anybody else have experience with that?
Also when I'm on my period I literally sit on the toilet sobbing and sweating and relaxing as much as I can to get things moving. To bear down isn't even a possibility. It hurts so badly that my body physically won't let me.
it could definitly be the endo causing your cramping. I also have horrble cramping before a bm along with a lot of pressure/pain. Sometimes the paih is so bad I can't even walk upright to the bathroom...*sigh* I also get throbbing in the rectal area.
I was told by 3 different drs that I have ibs, but I disagreed. I found better drs and turns out it is my endo causing my intestines to be inflammed and irritated likely by adhesions.
Thank you both for letting me know that it's most likely the endo. I had thought that too after reading a few other posts on here about this. Also the sciatic pain, going to mention that too because it only flares up when I'm bleeding either period or who know what else it is. Thank you ladies!
