Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
Usually my pain is only bad during my period and when I ovulate...my now my period has been over for 2 days and I still have significant pain. The entire left side of my pelvic region feels...weird. It kind of hurts and it feels like everything is moving around every time I stand up. It almost feels like I have a cyst there again, but I just had one removed two months ago.
Now every time I bend over, and sometimes just out of the blue, I'm getting these terrible shooting pains...they are starting low and shooting up and they are bad enough to take my breath away. They brought me to my knees this morning and I literally just had to stumble back into my cubicle because I was afraid I was going to fall again. I've also had a terrible headache for a few days...I have an appointment with a RE on Monday (FINALLY!!!), but these pains are freaking me out. I've never had anything like them before...the best (but not so visually pleasant) way I can describe it is like getting stabbed in the vag...this is AWFUL and they just keep coming!

I hope it's just residual pain from the procedure to remove the other cyst. Did you have a lap? For me, I had shooting pain for over 8 weeks after my last lap. I looked up the symptoms after the doc dismissed my comments...and found that it was likely a slight hernia. The pain went away with time.
I hope whatever it is - hernia, another cyst, something else...that your doc is quick about figuring it out. What a bummer.
