Hi ladies!
I hope we're all well =)

I have a question...
I had my second lap on July 8th.
I was about mid cycle - so was due 2-3 weeks after my op lap,hystercopy, D&C.
I'm now up to week 6 as of 2 days ago and no period.
Now while this does sound like a God send I am wondering whats going on?

For the week after my lap I did bleed profusly, I was wearing 2 thick super pads and changing every 2 hours max. My mum and my boyfriends mum were worried. It died off after about day 4-5 and I bled lighly for the remainding 3 or so days. But, this is just post-op bleeding...

Now in regards to possibly being pregnant... here's the liklihood. In those 6 weeks we've been intimate once since I have been recovering and its STILL painful! We were 100% safe (condoms) since I can't take hormones apparantly. Now I know it can break, but taking the condom to get wrapped up then to the trash it didn't leak, and it sure didn't break. So I'm very confident pregnancy isn't an option, although to tick it off I promised my boyfriend I would take a test tomorrow.

I'm just wondering what could be going on? if anyone had this happen to them? I'm still in pain on a nightly basis, trying to give these natural path some time to work.
Right now I am in pain again...I have NO idea whats going on anymore! URGH.

Hi, I am new to this site as of today and I just read your post. I hope everything works out for you and I am thinking that maybe you are late because your body went through such a traumatic experience. Endo throws off your cycle in the first place, maybe the surgery was just too much to keep you on schedule. I wish I had more answers for you, but I wish you the best.

hi! i have been using condoms effectively for years with my husband because i can't and never have been able to take BC either. this after i struggled to get pg with my first and accidentally got pg with my second on one out the 2 times we tried the pull out method. so, i would think that the odds of you getting pg using a condom once are slim to none. i still think it's a good idea to take a test tho. it will prevent you from stressing. i'm glad though that you have gotten a break from you periods. i know how dreadful they were. =) not sure what's going on either with it missing, but i wouldn't worry too much sweetie. it will rear it's ugly head in due time i'm sure. sorry to hear that you're still in so much pain with the natural path. =( i know it's frustrating to begin new treatments and waiting to see if they work. ur not alone on this one, because i'm still waiting too and i just have little to no patience. hang in there!!! here for you anytime you need me. luv, hugs thoughts and prayers!!!! ~jen

I'm not worried about being pregnant, its more for the bf's peace of mind =P

But its better to know then wonder hey!

It could just be from a big procedure, who knows. But I should be counting my blessings, you're right Jen they are horrible my periods!

Sara - I'm never on schedual, I am always here there and everywhere, late, early, every month I am far from the date I had it the previous month!
