Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
I say give it the normal 8 weeks and see how you feel then. If it's really bad, go to a different doc than the one who cut on you. :-)
I think you are right. I think I might have too much time on my hands to think and worry about things, when I really need to give things time to pass! I get so impatient with healing (I'm like the worst sick person ever). Today it's actually a lot better than yesterday. I get to a point where once I'm not longer on percocet stuck in bed I'm just like ok, everything needs to feel better NOW so I can get on with my life haha! I have my post op appointment tomorrow, so I think things will really feel more resolved after that as well.
And now your reaction maybe to second guess other pains too - is this normal? What about that? should I bring this up to a doc or ER? What about that?
:-)
I was so used to pain that when I had an ectopic pregnancy and my tube burst, my doc refused to operate on me at the moment because I could 'hold a conversation with her' which to her meant it wasn't that bad. 5 days later they opened me up to find that I'd likely been bleeding internally for 5 days.
So if it does get really bad, don't second guess and get some help. K? We gotta stand up for each other.
