Read it- I'm so sorry you had to go thru all of that. I have no advice specifically but just wanted to offer my support!

Please don't feel like you should "hit delete." Your story deserves to be told, and you deserve to have it heard. I'm sorry you've been through so much. My endo journey is new compared to yours. I first started having pain in 2010, when I was 28. Before that my periods were heavy, but I rarely had bad cramps. It all came on very suddenly. Just know that you are not alone!

Thanks so much. I certainly hope that you are winning your battle thus far. I pray that some day soon we'll have more answers than questions.

Your story is horrid...my complete condolences! Your story makes me want to jump back on the surgery table tomorrow and have a complete hysterectomy ASAP before this rapidly progressing illness progresses beyond surgical hope. I do not want to spend my years in pain and if removing those organs will help then that is what must be done. I'd rather be aggressive wtih treatment then let md's sit back and watch it unfold while we suffer.

Hey there....Please don't let my story frighten you. Each individual case requires individual treatment. Mine is a horror story that never ends. Note that complete removal of uterus, ovaries, and tubes did not negate the damage already done. I still have crippling pain today because it went undiagnosed for probably 15+ years. I believe in hindsight that the cells began to mutate in my early puberty. Of course that was the early 70's, so doctors just said "hot baths and muscle relaxers"....deal with it. When I was finally diagnosed, it was rampant and I had to fight doctors to "GET IT OUT" believing that would end my pain. I'm sorry to say it didn't.
Now 19 years later I suffer excruciating pain with my bowels, bladder and kidneys. But even with scars from breast bone to pubic to map my experiences, 2 endo "specialists" in 2 states told me I need to see a therapist. Neither prescribed anything to lessen my pain. I'm sorry, but some days my bitter trumps better.
Please arm yourself with research (not at all available to me even in the early 90's) knowledge of your OWN body and most of all BE YOUR OWN ADVOCATE. Unfortunately this disease is not taken seriously enough. We women must suffer (without meds for pain) due to the arrogance of male doctors who BTW have an arsenal of meds developed to enhance their erections and erotic pleasures. What has science done for us? I'm sorry, but I get on my "soap box" sometimes. I wish you well.
