Hello, I went to the doc... specialist in Phoenix... and we are scheduling surgery for sometime out-- april or may... doc said same about scared that I have had too many surgeries, that I become more of a risk.. but that they will do it.. it will be a robotic surgery- lap- my 9th.... I am now 42.. have had endo since 20 and already had hysterectomy in 2006...
I hope i am making the right decision on doing this again... hope it's not too soon? what do you all think?

I guess for me it'd come down to a few things. For one if the pain is unmanageable there aren't too many other choices (that you haven't already exhausted anyway), the choice would mostly be in deciding on the best surgeon to improve the odds of success. Does this doctor seem particularly well versed in endo treatment? Is s/he going to do something differently than your previous surgeries that might make it more successful in the long run? Often overlooked but equally important are you comfortable with and confident in this doctor?
Then of course ask lots of questions about his/her experience with endo, the robotic technique, etc. but with so many surgeries under your belt I am sure you've got a good handle on that.
If you do decide to go forward with it I really hope it works for good this time, you deserve a break.
