hi, am thinking about pelvic floor therapy again. Check out this pic, is your pain connected to the pelvic floor muscles?

I also saw an Operah article about pelvic floor therapy. They said vuvadidia (sp?) can sometimes be felt. It creates a stabbing feeling or feels like an acid burn around your 3 holes (tmi, I know).

I want to try pelvic floor therapy, but it is expensive. I wish their is a quick at home test I could do to see if I am a strong candidate for this. Have you considered pelvic floor therapy? Do you know any tests?

Hi, there is no quick test to see if pelvic floor therapy will work. Do you have insurance because if so it should be covered. I'm sorry I don't remember if you are working now or not!

I went to a pelvic physical therapist that was covered by my insurance (or like 20 visits a year) and I got a lot of good insight from it. I never had any tests for it, though...it was more of a 'nothing else works, we don't know what to tell you anymore...here try this' situation. She taught me a lot of different stretches (both inside and out..TMI, sorry.) that I noticed really help since my last lap.

Let me know if you're interested in the stretches...I can put something together on which ones work for me and when : )
