Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
I wend to the Awareness day in NYC this weekend and was so happy i did.
They had a team of endo specialists (including Dr. Andrew Cook) who answered MY questions in a panel discussion. It was amazing.

After the patient day, I'm starting to think about starting a grass roots effort to educate patients and doctors about endometriosis. I'm talking poop doctors, pain doctors, ob/gyn's, rheumotologists, you name it we need to tell them the symptoms and correct course of action for endo!!
Anyone else interested?

Maybe we can brainstorm something and bounce around some ideas. I had been considering some kind of public speaking or maybe a blog/vlog to share my experience. I'm an office manager, though, so while I may be organized I'm not the most creative person :-)
