Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
Well, with endo things can change. How long ago was your last lap? Sorry I don't remember. Your waves of pain while on cycle can be because you are clotting. Unfornately no rhyme or reason with endo. If this is the first period where things are different track it for one or two months and then consider maybe getting on bc pills if not already. I have been on seasonale for several years so i only have a cycle every 3 months. i used to cramp weeks before my cycle then horribly while on my cycle.
I'm sorry you're feeling so crummy, and hope you start feeling better soon!
I'm sorry that you've felt so bad lately hotchocolate! I hate that gushing feeling! Feels like a waterfall some days. You are definitely not alone though, sounds like on this thread, we've all experienced that at some point in time. At least we're here to vent to :)
Yeah, the worse my cramps, the worse the blood, as soon as I use the bathroom, the cramps subside some. I remember I was flying home with my dad (he's a pilot so we took his plane no potty) from Ohio to Florida and I had my period. He wanted to get to St. Augustine which is northern Florida to get gas (we live in southern Florida). By the time we got to Tennessee I was begging him to land. He didn't know then that I had an issue so he was like you're just being a girl. I was sweating and nauseous and crampy and as soon as he landed I ran faster than an ostrich to the nearest bathroom where I had the biggest clot I've ever seen and just getting that out reduced my pain from a ten to a two. I sat on the toilet for half an hour haha I did NOT want to get back in the plane, awful! Now (and especially after that) he stops when I say NOW! lol
