Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
I haven't been to a pain specialist but today I went to have acupuncture and afterwards I felt really good. I could walk all the way home and I felt like I had just had an all over body massage. The acupuncturist said that the pain relief should last about 2 days. So I am going back on saturday again. I did take another mersyndol a few hours after that though because it seemed that the pain returned a little bit but not as bad as before.
The acupuncture was a little uncomfortable, but the needles are really thin and you can just feel it when it pierces the skin and then once they are in its ok, you just feel it, but not in a painful way. After about a minute, it started to feel all fuzzy and nice and then I just relaxed for about 15 mins I guess. I had four needles in my stomach/pelvic area and one on each ankle/lower leg. I say its worth a try!
Cheers, M
Also he has put me on waiting list for acupuncture.
You are going about in in the right way by being prepared with diary.
