Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
If it hurts to expercise, don't push through the pain. You may have not healed enough after the lap. I had my lap about two weeks ago, and I was told that I will still get fatigue and have pain months afterwards. I love Ashtanga yoga. It's more meditative, not that hot (Bikram) gym yoga stuff. And, it's not strenuous at all. I've been feeling more in fit than when I was doing my boxing class, which I'm dying to go back to.
I've done accupuncture and I think it's a great idea! They have places that are pay as you can, like a pay scale. But, I think it's better to find someone who is experienced in female infertility. They are more experienced in the meridians and know what to hit. They will prescribe herbals for you. With their treatment, I felt more flowing in my pelvis like it was free. They were able to detect my problems really well cause it turned out I had a huge fibroid and my GI tract had a lot of problems, both which had treated in surgery. You are definitely reminding me that I need a treatment! LOL!
That's awesome that you cut out caffeine! Have you tried green tea?
I like to drink decaf chai tea - I have tried green tea but chai is my favorite.
Accupuncture didnt work for me, do you take the bc pill? it helped me for many yrs.
If you have pain everyday you could think about pain mgt? most gyns wont/cant give you pain meds for too long before they refer you out. take care.

It might really help to have a conversation with your GYN or specialist to explore a referral to a pain clinic to see what other options they could possibly provide.
I know how much you're hurting physically and emotionally.
I wish you all the luck in the world and hope you find a solution as soon as possible!
