I usually have very distinct ovulatory discomfort. It's not like menstrual cramps or like any other sensation I've ever had in my abdomen.

Rather it feels like something is trying to burst through the walls of something in there. Like a pressing....vice-like....ache.

It usually lasts for a half hour to an hour or two. Sometimes it has lasted for hours.

And then in the days after ovulation I will have twitches in what at least I think are my ovaries.

I have a friend who says that for about 3 days around ovulation...she feels pain with every step she takes as she walks.

Do you mean kind of like a gurggling, fluttery feeling? If so yes. It use to happen to me when I ovulated and right before af would start. Never hurt or anything, just strange.

Vally yes exactly! And SoMuchHoping, I get very similar ovarian pain! It's like a crazy intense pressure all focused on one tiny area.

Yeah for me it wraps around my abdomen all the way to the back. Like there is an internal vice all around me.

I feel some discomfort as well...more like pins and needles shooting on ovaries, last for a few seconds, more often around ovulation time. I think its the egg fighting through all that endo and cysts.
Doesn't really hurt, I'm just more aware of what my body is telling me.
