Hi ladies...I need some advice.

I have been checked time and time for cysts and besides the one seen in surgery, ultrasounds have shown nothing in the way of cysts. I am going day two of the worst pain in my ovaries..it's a pirecing stabbing pain, pulling also, it radiates through my legs.

It started yesterday before I went walking and now I can barely walk. I go back to my obgyn next week... but what the hell? I can tell my endo is back... but what could be going on with my ovaries??

I have the same pain and often go in for ultra sound thinking I have a cysts sometimes I do and others I don't even though it hurts just as bad. No dr could ever explain pain until I recently I saw a dr for this that has specialzed in endometriosis for 30 years and just by doing a pelvic, pressing on abdomin and putting his finer you know where he said he could feel that my bowel was full and adhered to my ovary. He said it will cause pain like a cysts because of extra pressure on ovaries. Even with all his experiece I was skeptial that he could actually feel it but then had a ultra sound by a nurse that has been doing ultra sounds for endometriosis patients for over 20 years and she confirmed what he said for she said there was a lot of bowel on ovary. Sorry so long winded maybe adhesions is causing your pain too. Best of luck and keep us updated

Taters, I get this too a lot especially on my right side. It will get so bad that I will actually start limping when I walk and have to press my hand against my pelvis right over the pain....since all they found was endo during my lap - no cyst, no tumor, no adhesions, my doctor thinks that the endo has started to affect my nerves. Since I've had carpal tunnel surgery I have an idea what nerve pain feels like and after comparing it during an episode its damn well close. I don't know if that's necessarily good news for you, but that could be what it is, unfortunately there really isn't anything they can do about it either.

Just curious do you notice that your pain is affected by the weather? I'm not sure of the climate where you live, but where I'm at we have four seasons so with the humidity and rain and cold I notice a change.

Maybe they'll find nothing.. I'm just hoping they find whatever is causing me grief.. Im having a lot more then ovary pain :(

My GP also thinks my nerves are being affected so once I know I'll be sure to share with you.

I find when it's warmer my body relaxes and when it's colder I tense up..I think when it's colder I find myself being more intensly sore...
When we were overseas it was hot..I found the heat helped with the pain a little bit..like a giant heat sack over my body really. But Unfortunatly still had pain :(

Hi Tate, sorry to hear you're feeling so poorly at the moment. I get similar pain in my left side, sometimes feels like it's in my hip, and it's beacause my ovary is adhered down and in the wrong place. I never used to, but recently have noticed pain in my leg and bum cheeks when I have my period. Don't know if this means my Endo's getting worse? I've also noticed during this cold snap we're having it seems worse and find myself limping.
