I've been feeling off all day. I have waves of nausea, burning pains higher in my abdomen, and my aching ovary is extra achey. I've wondered if I have an ovarian cyst, but I'm very doubtful because I only have had one that was diagnosed.
Within the past few hours, I had a rush of very watery, mostly clear discharge. Could this be a cyst rupturing? What else would cause this?

It does sound like a cyst ruptured.
Where are you in your cycle? Cervical mucus changes throughout your cycle. I think it's clear and watery when you ovulate. So maybe the pain's related to mittelschmerz? The last ovulation I had was really bad. My corpus luteum was almost the same size as my endometrioma. It was like 3.8 cm. When that corpus luteum ruptured I definitely felt it for days.
You could call and ask your doctor about it. When my endometrioma ruptured my gyn did a sonogram to check and she saw that the cyst was half its size and I had free fluid in my pelvic area.

I too have only had a couple cysts so they can come at any time. It's best to go see a doctor if you still have pain as the cyst can grow prettybig and cause damage to our ovaries. If they grow bigger than 10 cm research has shown they don't go away on their own.
