Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
Sorry your going through this. I know about 99% of the women on here has fought with fatigue at one point in there life. I personally get it every period. I allow myself to be lazy, I have to. If I start moving around to much, I end up in a ball on the floor bc the pain is so bad. I hope you get some much needed relief soon! I will keep you in my prayers for your upcoming surgery.
Big Hugs,
Ashley Nicole

And ya, fatigue....When it hits and I force myself to suffer through work I get home and usually end up passing out on the couch in my uniform. Then he pain will wake me back up but I'm sill pretty useless. Showering is a huge accomplishment. I forced myself to cook dinner tonight, but I had to lay back down and ended up burning it to a crisp.
Good luck with your surgery! Also, have you tried vicoprofen for the pain? It was the only thing that worked decently for me, but my doc won't give it to me anymore.
AshleyNicole, thank you for the kind words. I checked out your site and bookmarked it, you and all the gals here are a great encouragement. God bless y'all!
You may want to look into getting a TENS machine! I love mine and its helped out quite a bit. Here is the link to the one I own.

Good luck on your surgery!
But on another note, you are not alone! i feel insane too and it sucks! I HATE being in pain so freaking much. But as i have said several times before to other ladies on here, so i am sorry if i am a broken record, you may want to try the low dose of cymbalta. It helps me! it keeps that constant nagging pain away and it makes you feel a little better mentally, it is how i get through life on a daily basis! But also after your surgery i hope you will get some relief too!! Ugh I just hate it because i know how you feel and i wish there was something we could all take or do to get the pain to go away forever!
When I can't sleep I try Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime or Yogi Bedtime tea, though I don't know if it will work through your pain. In the past I've used Benadryl, though it can make you groggy the next day. Amino acids in capsule form are another way. When I'm in pain, I use a heating pad that stays on all night.
Ashley that is interesting about the TENS machine, I've never heard of that. How does it compare to a heating pad? Does it help with cramps in the vaginal area?

Theres all the information on it, it sends electrical current through your abdomen. It helps quite a bit for those days that you cant use a heating pad bc the hot flashes are a pain in the ass! :)
Hope this helps!
fell better, hugs
These doctors basically pump me full of morphine and gravol
Although my doctor has me on zoladex I feel as though I am resistant to pain medication as it would appear as though nothing works for me
Am scheduled for my second laparoscopy next week Thursday and I am counting the hours down
I know how it feels to be confined to a bed my endo is so bad up until December of 2011 and was unable to drop my daughter to school in almost 2 years!!!
Most days I try to push myself for my daughter's sake but it seems as though my endo is getting progressively worse with my daily pain level skyrocketing to 9 to 10 out of 10 each day
I think the fatigue may be attributed to the pain as our bodies are taking quite a beating from this horrible disease we won't have much energy left
All I know is this disease is unforgiving and it's so sad that with all the advances in medical science no one can find a cure for this terrible disease
