Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
When was you last lap and what were the results? I had a hyst and endo came back, i now have chronic pain and go to a pain doc, they actually believe me! Take care.

This is a long shot...but...I have pain where you are describing, but on the right side. My GYN thinks that it is due to a fragmented round ligament. The ligament can get fragmented from endo. He said that he only repairs about two of these per year, but that it can happen. This is the ligament in your pelvic bone area that holds your uterus, bladder, intestines, colon in place. If mine has fragmented on the right causing pain, yours could have fragmented on the left. Just a thought...
My symptoms are tough bowel movements, feeling of fullness "down low" all the time. Organs can prolapse too causing these types of symptoms. I wonder if they prolapse due to issues with the ligament??
Anyway, just thought I would add this as I had never heard of such a thing until it happened to me. I have surgery on October 29th to fix this and to remove any endo. It'll be interesting to find out if this happened due to endo.
Now that I think about it, there's been this "cracking" between my pubic bone for a few years. Not all the time, but occasionally. It never really hurt, but now I wonder if it's related to what I'm going through now.
Also, do you get these throbbing pains in your rectum (or is you your anus?) Not to be crude, but sometimes my butthole just throbs with slight pain when I'm just sitting around. My BMs aren't painful as far as the passage of fecal matter, but sometimes it feels like I'm not done or I might have to strain to even get out a loose stool. (can't believe I'm typing this to complete strangers!)
What can I ask my doctor to check to see if it's a ligament? Any advice would be much appreciated.
Go to a specialist endo or pelvic pain. Don't waste your time with regular obgyn's. They do everything from treating crabs to bringing people into the world. Endo isn't well understood and dr's can't admit they don't know what to do. I saw 4 obgyn's in one year. One wanted to put me on bc... I've been on pretty much everything except the patch and Yaz with no results. Another didn't want to refill my prescription for neurotin which is a "sister drug" to Lyrica. The other 2 wanted me to try Lupron for the 3rd time. I have been through all the endo drugs with no relief.
I have hope now. I don't have pain free days. I haven't for years, but after 4 months of treatments I can enjoy the occasional pain free half day. I hope all of you can find at least that much relief.
