Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
I was diagnosed with endo when I was 17. I am now 29. I joined the group facing a time in my life now where I am in a serious relationship and struggling very hard to get on the same page with my significant other on feeling understood. It makes me feel very alone to face this sometimes and to live in serious pain often. I struggle a lot with anxiety and the combination of the hormonal imbalances and anxiety is incredibly isolating sometimes.
My lover isn't very interested in finding understanding and I feel bad when I feel like I impare their life or good time. Mother's Day just passed yesterday and that is the worse for me. I am worried i'll have to face never having a baby of my own and I wish I had a partner that would listen more. Trying to find some other outlets and support. No one else I have met in my path of life have faced this on the caliaber it impacts my health.
I suppose I just need to know who else is out there and that I am not alone in the difficulties of health, personal relationships, and the way this can hurt someone as a woman. Hopefully this turns out to be some positive support that I am looking for.
