Hey everyone I had my surgery on March 19 where they found endo and adhesions and scar tissue. For some reason I am still having some pain on my left side where they took the adhesion out. Im going back to work tomorrow and I am worried about pulling stitches or hurting myself. I am a substitute teacher. Sometimes I am required to pick up children. Right now I still cannot lift over 10 pounds. I go to the doctor tomorrow I will talk to him. But Im also afraid of getting my cycle for the first time since the lap. Ive heard so many different stories. I just wanted more information on endometriosis if you have any. Thanks.

When you have adhesions removed, it often hurts more, longer. Recovery after surgery usually takes 6 to 8 weeks total, but you can usually go back to work within 5 days or up to a month.
