your still in pain ??? did you get your organs taken out or do you still have them????? always been in the worse pain with mine . seem like every 4 years have get a surgery to remove the scar tissue .. always had be on birth control try help with the bad periods and stuff ... sent me a message if you ever need to talk ... take care . had my endometrosis sense been 21 and now going on 29 but am pretty sure also had it whenever i was a teenager...

I got my doctor off that site too and so far he's great, by far the best I have seen! Granted I haven't had the lap yet we'll see what I say a few weeks after hehe.

Yep, still in pain, and recently got worse. The local gyno put me on BC pills, mood swing, and all that shit.. but mostly hot flashes and boobs huring really bad.... i am not going back to him, but will take the BC until i have my appointment. I have one ovary left, that's all...after the hystectomy in 2006.. my surgeries, laps, were about every 2 to 3 years apart... lots of laps... until in 2006 the gyno couldn't even get in through my belly button to do the lap, so i had the hysterectomy.. worked for 6 years.. im back lately, like when i was back in college :(

I'm very positive person, very strong and from what i read on this site, one of the few who work full time. don't ask me how i do it, because I don't even know... my appt in Az is Wednesday-- probably to schedule surgery- or that's what i am hoping for....

I'm not working now just due to where we're living (temporarily), not due to endo issues. I was always the same with school and when I did work, I very rarely took time off because I knew if I started taking a day off here and there I'd quickly just want to always give in. And in some way staying busy helped my self esteem when I felt like crap. Not working I think makes me feel worse in a lot of ways. Maybe you're the same way? Prefer to just work through it if there's anyway to stay upright!

@ felena- ya, in regards to work.. i feel better doing something than not.. staying home makes me feel worse :)

Yeah I wish I could work but I can't cuz I have way to many health problems other than just endometrosis . I always wanted be a doctor or a nurse because I love helping people as much as I can. But also have learning disablies make it somewhat hard to go to college and do that stuff . I always say people so lucky that can work and go to school ... I just try keep busy and just keep frighting my bad endometrosis and cancer cells and crohn's and other problems I have ... I so want a baby but I don't know if that will ever happen ... Cuz I don't ovulate they told me have do IVF's but only do two of them . cuz I can't efforded the big one like 12,000 I don't know who could.. But am here for anyone needs talk or needs advices or just having bad day. Take Care

Also been on birth control for so long help with pain and bad periods and they said stops the endometrosis from spreading but I don't think it does cuz last time I had surgery he said it spread more so I don't know . I feel bad for you having that surgery and still being in so much pain I know what thats like ....

Just wanted to wish you so much good luck tomorrow! Hope your appointment goes well and this Dr can help. It seems like it's only a matter of time before the remaining ovary starts acting up, but 6 years is a pretty good run. Here's hoping this will be your last surgery! Keep us posted.
