Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
If exercising and stretching were so effective there would be a 176 million women packed into the gym, and there wouldn't be any message boards dedicated to endometriosis support. I "manage" my endo with exercise, and although I'm happy with the results I still have problems with inflammation. No amount of bicep curls is going to deflate my bloated stomach.
And no one has their endometriosis and adhesions in identical places. It would be hard to tell how someone reacts to a certain routine. When I had my ovary behind my uterus kegels probably wouldn't have helped with that pain.
Hopefully you'll find something that works for you. And don't let your doctor yelling at you make you feel bad. If pelvic floor therapy didn't work for you then no amount of yelling or nagging is going to change that.
