Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
My Lap is booked for May 3 and I can't wait to hopefully find out whats been going on with me. Part of me is hoping they find Endo becoz it will be an answer...but part of me doesnt want Endo for obvious reasons. But if they don't find Endo..what is it?! I'm sick of not knowing. Going through pain daily and bleeding almost every day aswell. I'm so exhausted all of the time.
I hope u get yours sorted. You might need a little bit more time to see if the Mirena starts to work...i think it usually takes 3 months or so....but my personal advice is to not have it. That's from my experience. I can't wait to get mine removed!
I saw my GP today, she said I am struggling but she wants to try and get me to the 6 week mark and hopefully the pain subsides.
She said my body is trying to give birth to it so to speak as I keep needing to "push", she said "it's like your giving birth but you're not".
She's left me on edone for a review in a couple of weeks. They're trying to keep it in so badly because I don't have anything left to try, once/if this comes out thats it, I have to deal with being in pain all the time including a horrific period every month.
What they're hoping for with the Mirena is my period lightens (apparantly it wont ever dissapear due to adeyno) however the cramping and pain could still be present. They're hoping to try and lighten the load. But it's a last resort... =(
She put me on a light anti-depressant too.
I'm going to try my hardest, Hopefully it does end up helping, but it's taking all my my will and sanity to not take the damn thing out myself!
Here's praying and hoping! I need this to work.
I NEED it to work!
I hope you get some answers :) I hope something works for you!
*hugs*
