Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.

Ok having a terribly bad night. Thought I could spring clean my room earlier was moving the bed and scared hubby. I almost dropped the bed on me. I was lifting it so it would fall back in place and i just had a horrible stabbing pain and hubby said it was just a blood curdeling scream. He almost took me to the er. So needless to say im up on a percocet sorry if this makes no sense but he wants me try and sleep. My brother is staying with me this weekend. My hubby is going on his long shift so he doesnt want me alone.
Anyways I was cruising the internet tonight. im just so frustrated with this. Im so sorry for those who dont get a diagnoses for so long. Think that is going to be me. I have all the signs of it but my dr now thinks im nuts and told me to find a new one. GI dr he said. anyways I found this pelvic pain specialist. I know my insurance doesnt really cover all expenses in California but his name is Dr. Andrew Cook. I was wondering if anyone had heard of him??? I just desparately want this figured out so i can move on with my life. I cannot find one here in New Mexico but im getting desperate that i would pay anything.

If you think it is endo the only why to find out is to have the surgery. Endo doesn't show up on test. (maybe a pelvic exam)Find a specialist for endo or ask you gyn if they know of one. Inferity dr.could help.

There are also "government hospitals" that if you don't have insurance, they give you discounts. I had 100% discount for a year at the one near my house. I got a lot done there.

Oh i was an army brat forever I mess with the military "gov hospitals" anymore. but that is a whole other story. If it keeps up i will talk to hubby about him. if not im sure we can go to albuquerque. Im just really really tired today and I know i have stuff to do.

Good idea - keep hunting and seeing new better doctors. NEVER listen to them when they say you are crazy. Telling someone who is in horrible pain enough to scream that they are fine - THAT IS CRAZY! You can find a good enough doctor if you keep trying and be your own health advocate!

There is such a thing as clear endo, which an inexperienced dr. can easily miss. Also, endo is great at hiding. Just because the dr. didn't see it doesn't mean it isn't there. Keep pushing.

I pushed he told me to go. auntie flo comes next week and i totally dont know what to do. im already having bad pain. so if it gets too bad we are just going to the er. im already having a terrible time tonight. Will clear endo show up on an ultrasound? He also said that if it was endo i would have bubbled inside when he cleaned me out. whatever that means. do you guys know anything about this?
