Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
Sounds like the pain might be the ovaries trying to get back to normal, when they ready themselves they bloat and get sensitive thats way so many of us have pain because the Endo on them make them just that much more sensitive. I dont even technically get my cycle but every once and a while I have some hormone shift and same thing bam ouch someones pinching the hell out of my ovaries, normally the right one. Most of my friend have no idea where theirs are in their bodies I happen to know exactly where mine are thanks Endo.
So I had the lap to remove the cyst, or so I thought, and woke up with stage IV endo. I did the lupron for one month and am still waiting to get my period back. Them we are going to ttc naturally for one month (biggest joke of my life) then move on to Ivf.
Was your Ivf successful? What was your protocol? I wish I had to do x, y, and z, whatever that would be, and I would get pregnant and have a baby, but there are no guarantees in anything in life.

With documented Stage IV, I went through all the testing for IF but more of less went straight through to IVF. I seem to recall we had a break right before our first cycle, awaiting INS approval and my Dr said why not just go for it for, never know. Even did the Ovulation Kits, which were strong but It was a joke, I knew it but we made the best of it First 2 cycles were for the most part successful although didnt result in PG. What I learned from them however and I suppose it was in part because I had complete faith in my RE, but I realized that because of what were asking our bodies to do and the stress both physical and mental that the idea that the first time works for anyone is truly amazing. And that helped me with the let down, plus we came out of it with a narrowing down of protocol for the next time, so although my husband didnt see progress I choose to see progress. Granted that was the good days the bad days well everything and one sucked and I was freakin miserable. So when second time failed again I cried and mourned then decided to focus on the progress, what do we try next now that we know x, of course by the second time the Endo had flared up pretty good and there was that to consider so we took a break, to get my body and the Endo back under control. Went on Lupron for three months, exercised to lose at least some of the weight Id gained, yoga, massage, acupuncture and trying enjoying the summer, get body and head right. The last time the major change to was I actually went on two Stims and then added Assisted Hatching.
