Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
Wouldn't it be great if this disease received the funding and attention it deserves?
I wish you health and pain free days.
Good luck to you.
I was so nervous to try Lupron (because of all the negative posts about it) but it has been a godsend to me. It was truly the only thing that STOPPED my pain. And now I can't take it after this next shot. (It will be one year on Lupron for me.)
My doctor has been great and supportive and is giving me options as to what to do next. She would like me to try Mirena. I'm nervous about that because I don't know how my body will react to it or if it will be as good as the Lupron was.
My advice to you is to try something else and not, not do something.
I wish you the best of luck!!
Good luck and for sure keep us posted!

Here is the site I was talking about below...I stand corrected, according to this 63% of women with mild endometriosis after taking the Lupron treatment were symptom free for 5 years after stopping treatment.

I wouldl take the 2.5 years, but will obviously hope for 5 symptom free years!
