Im sorry and completely understand how you feel. with this disease theres a lot of battles, some you win and some you lose. Like they say, "you might lose some battles but you wanna win the war!" Dont give up. Im 31 and havent found anything that helps besides prescribed meds, and a lot of times I feel defeated...but I try really hard to not give up and try new things to help me. Im not gonna sugar coat things and lie, this is a very tough disease. But keep fighting, and do not give up on yourself.
Also, just because you had very painful sex, doenst mean the surgery didnt help...you're only 1 month post surgery and even if you feel like you've recovered, it takes a long time for your body to fully recover; so in time sex may not hurt, and your pain may get better. One month is really early.
Also if the surgery for some reason didnt help as much as you wanted, there are alternatives; especially pelvic floor therapy is helpful for painful sex-Ive never had it yet, but a lot of the women on here say its so helpful, acupuncture, diet changes. Keep looking sweety, it is a process and isnt fair, but really try to stay positive and look for other possibilities.

i dont have "painful sex" its more really bad cramping after.. is that normal? thats how it has always been which sucks but it is what it is i guess. lol thank you for letting me know it may take more time. its just really stressful it has gotten a little better so i guess i shouldnt complain but i just feel alone. all the time. ive found that if i relax a little more often things arent as bad. i have also gained like 4 pant sizes in the last 6 months. its awful.

You're not "complaining"-thats this is a very difficult thing to deal with. And in my experience, yes, pain or cramping is common after sex. Mine can last a whole day. Im sure a lot of women would agree.
Did you tell your Dr?
And thats good its not painful sex, but I know how badly it can hurt after sex too. Hopefully when you're all healed it will help with the pain afer.
It sounds like you're going through a lot, Im sorry. I really hope that you feel better and your surgery was successful!

Try taking a pain pill before sex so that by the time you are done it should have kicked in and hopefully that will help with the pain. You are still healing so your uterus is probably hurting from orgasm. it used to happen to me also.

I second the giving it more time. I had very bad pain for 2 or 3 months after surgery and was sure the surgery messed me up even more. Then I started to get better and can feel the difference now. Hang in there! Hope you feel better.

Thank you ladies!!!! I will try taking Arbil or something before next time. I have seen improvement in things and not in others hopefully time and more healing will make things better. I havent told my dr about pain after sex. I haven't even told my boyfriend and we've been on and off for 4 or so years. I'm starting to look for a job in my career now and I'm a little nervous about going back to work and a buisy life. I'm nervous because I'll be working all sorts of hours and I need at least 2 jobs to catch up and start saving to support myself again. Here's hoping things will stay on the positive end of things so that I can live a regular life.
