Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
I feel ya. I think it was supposed to happen that I read this post..because I felt the same way for a while. I still do. I am always TIRED.
Just last week I tried working out (hadn't done so in 2 weeks) and I could only work out for 20 minutes.and that was PUSHING IT. I got to 10 minutes and I was sweating and tired. I'm not THAT out of shape.
Anyway, I know how it is to be consistantly tired and needing naps. I've learned to just push my way through the exhaustion most of the time, but I do give myself a lot more downtime than I did before.
As far as the "craziness" goesyou're not crazy. There's probably a hormone imbalance with the BC and the endo. I don't know 10000%, but I'm like 98% sure that's why. Don't feel bad for crying over dumb things. The Lupron puts you through menopause, so it'll do the same thing to your hormones.I still cry ALL THE TIME. Over dumb things!!
My advice overall is just to find someone you can talk to about how you're feeling, and what you're thinking. Don't let it build up inside. If you want to talk to me, you're more than welcome to!! Any time you feel the need, you can send someone on here a message, and just let it all out. Also find a "release," or hobby. I play my guitar and write songs. You don't have to be good at it (I'm not that good), but you just have something you can turn your emotions into, to make something out of it.
Hope this helps some.

Hope you can get this all sorted out! Hang in there...its not you, it's the pills.
Don't get me wrong, the Lupron has helped A LOT. I haven't had to go to the ER for pain since that and my lap. But the side effects are enough to scare anyone off from doing it. I felt really alone for a while because I'm 22 and I'm going through menopause..it's bizarre. And lonely. So I totally feel ya. Because I have hot flashes and am super emotional and everyone around me is like "oh I'm sorry" but they aren't that sympathetic. Moreover they just tell me my life isn't that bad. BUT IT'S BAD TO ME!!! I just wish people would be a little more understanding.
My family are the only ones who are really sympathetic, and like, two of my friends, who are both leaving for school. So that's why I turned to this site. Because people get it here, and I get more empathy than I deserve! It's been really helpful.
I just hope you don't feel like giving up, because no matter how bad the pain can be, emotionally and physically, it's something to deal with and learn to cope with as well.
BE HAPPY!!!
I think I'm going to talk to her in September when I go in to see her next and talk to her about my other options. I'm even on a anti depressant and I am still like this. On top of the emotions I gain weight like there is no tomorrow. It sucks and I have the hardest time losing it because I don't have the energy to go to the gym or to go for walks or run.
I eat 3 meals a day unless I can't. I have to or I get grumpy (which I've been at my moms and her food stamps ran out and there isn't much to eat that could be a big part of my mood swings) and if I don't have caffiene I get migraines!! I know the sugar and caffiene deff don't help but I can't function without it.
I wish my family and friends understood!!!! I get told all the time that I'm over reacting and to get over it. Or that it's not that bad its just cramps all women have cramps. It's like no it's not just cramps you take my body for a week and tell me that I'm over reacting and it's just cramps. My dr doesn't even understand and whenever i go to the er they tell me nothing is wrong! I think things would be easier if the people in my every day life would try to understand how this is.
I have depression, too, and as much as I should be on a pill for that, I'm a rebellious little freak and don't take my medspartly because they're 100$ a bottle, INCLUDING insurance. I just need to go back to my doctor and tell him to put me on something different. So my moodswings have been really out of control lately and I think that's part of it.
Ohhh the weight-gain.I think that's the worst part. I already have a low self-esteem, and I have gained 10+ pounds in the last 6 months, and it makes it harder to be social than before. And everyone blows that off too "oh you're not fat" or "oh you're so thin" but I'm like 20 lbs from being really overweight, and obvi if I keep up the weight gain, I don't know what I'll do.oh well that's probably just me complaining and not really helping you.
