Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
Ginger tea or peppermint candy usually helps me if I am really having a bad day. I think it's just your body's response to dealing with the pain, when you are in so much pain it causes tension and anxiety in your body which can cause increased acid production in you belly, sort of like if you have ever had an intense migraine which can cause the same symptoms. I think this is a pretty common symptom with endo so don't worry, you are not alone. :)
I also got it really bad when I had kidney stones. Do you have those?
EmmyK06, thank you for the suggestion of ginger tea and peppermint candy. I have been using Altoids as it has natural peppermint in it. I have also tried ginger tea but the flavor makes me feel a little nauseous just by itself.
My next stop will be to my GP and maybe she can explain or at the very least give me something that will help with it. I can't continue to live like this. I can't afford to miss anymore work!
Thanks all!

When I was pregnant I was super nauseous and my doc told me to take unisom. It worked, but I was pretty sleepy, lol. Try that and see if that helps. I'm glad you're going to see your doctor about it though. Let us know what he/she comes up with.
Best wishes
The best nausea medication for me is Reglan (you can get it in a generic form) and it works wonders for 8 years!
Hope that helps! Endochic
